We should continue the league if the protection for the virus is available – Coach Yussif Bassigi

Sekondi Hasaacas technical director, Coach Yussif Bassigi has said the Ghana Football Association can continue the 2019/2020 League season if there is protection for the covid-19 during an interview on Sekondi-Takoradi based radio station Kyzz 89.7 Sekunde Sports program with Solomon Amankwa.

He said the league can’t continue if there is no protection or preventive measure against the covid-19 because there are a lot of lives at stake and human lives really matter.

“If the protection for the virus is there, we should continue but if it isn’t there, then we should halt everything.”

The coach of the Sekondi Hasaacas Female team added even if the league commences, they FA should start with the male league for them to study before they commence with the women’s league.
