The Ghana League Season Must Not Be Truncated- MCE For Tarkwa-Nsuaem, Benjamin Kessie Cautions.

Municipal Chief Executive(MCE) for Tarkwa-Nsuaem, Hon. Benjamin Kessie has urged leaders of the Ghana Football Association not to truncate the league season despite the increasing number of COVID 19 cases in Ghana.

According to the MCE, Tarkwa based Medeama SC stands a good chance of lifting this season’s Premier League trophy following their outstanding run of form before COVID 19.

In an exclusive interview with Spice FM in Takoradi, Benjamin Kessie said:

“The league must be continued, and it seems anytime Medeama comes closer to lifting the trophy, something pops up, first was the Anas exposé and now a pandemic.”

“We are keenly waiting on the Football Association’s decision, you can say I’m being biased, but Medeama will compete and win the league.”

Medeama placed first on the league log before COVID 19 but lost board room points for fielding an ineligible player which has seen them fall to 6th on the table.
