Hearts Of Oak Deny Reports Of Meeting Players Over Pay Cut

Hearts Of Oak have denied claims of meeting players do discuss slashing down their salaries in these hard times.

 

The news went widely spread in the media of management of the club discussing with the players to consider a pay cut, report the club consider as untrue.

“Within the week I read stories that we have met with the players on salary cut. I can say on authority that, Hearts of Oak have not introduced or discussed pay cut with the players. It is not true,” PRO of the club, Opare Addo revealed.

Sworn rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko became the first Ghana Premier League to proposed a 40% pay cut which players are yet to accept.
