Joseph Paintsil Set for LA Galaxy Return After Injury Absence

Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil is poised for a return to LA Galaxy. From a muscle injury that sidelined him for the past five matches.

He will be available for their upcoming clash against Sporting Kansas City on June 16th at Dignity Health Sports Park.

Partial Training

Paintsil’s absence was a significant blow for the Galaxy. Coach Greg Vanney acknowledged his importance, stating, “Joe’s been fully involved this whole week. He was in partial training session stuff last week so he’s ready to join the team and be ready to go.”

Before the injury, the speedy winger had been a key contributor this season. In just 13 appearances, he racked up four goals and four assists, showcasing his attacking prowess. The injury also forced Joseph Paintsil to miss Ghana’s crucial World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic.

However, with his full participation in training this week, Coach Vanney confirmed Paintsil’s readiness. Paintsil’s return provides a much-needed boost for the Galaxy’s attacking options. With his pace and creativity back on the pitch. They will be looking to secure a positive result against Sporting Kansas City.
