The 29-year-old striker opened the scoring in the 27th minute with a well-taken strike, putting Athletic Club firmly in control.

Williams wasn’t done there. He doubled his tally and Athletic Club’s lead in the 51st minute, effectively sealing the win for his team.

This impressive performance brings his goal tally for the season to 11 in 31 league appearances, with 3 assists added to his name.

The win keeps Athletic Club firmly in the race for European qualification. They currently sit in 5th place on the La Liga table with 61 points after 34 matches.
