Ghanaian Prodigy Ernest Nuamah on Target as Lyon Draw with Reims

Ernest Nuamah

Ghanaian winger Ernest Nuamah found the net for Olympique Lyon as they battled to a 1-1 draw against Stade Reims in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday.

Reims took the lead through Joseph Okumu in the 55th minute, but Nuamah responded ten minutes later to pull Lyon level.

The 20-year-old, on loan from Belgian club RWD Molenbeek, has now scored two goals and provided two assists in his 22 Ligue 1 appearances this season.

The draw leaves Lyon in 10th place in the Ligue 1 table with 35 points after 27 matches. However, their focus will quickly shift to the Coupe de France where they face Valenciennes FC in the semi-finals on April 2.

Ernest Nuamah will be hoping to continue his good form and help Lyon secure a place in the final.
