Dreams FC Set for Tough CAF Confederation Cup Quarterfinal Clash Against Stade Malien

Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC are poised for a fierce battle against Stade Malien of Mali in the quarterfinals of the CAF Confederation Cup

The matchup was determined during the official draw held in Egypt on March 12.

Dreams FC earned their spot in the quarterfinals by dominating Group C, finishing with a top position and 12 points. Their rivals, Nigeria’s Rivers United, fell short on goal difference. Meanwhile, Stade Malien secured a second-place finish in Group D with 10 points, placing them behind Moroccan powerhouse RSB Berkane.

The first leg of the quarter-final tie will be played on Sunday, March 31st, 2024, at the Stade du 26 Mars in Bamako, Mali.

Dreams FC will then return home for the second leg on Sunday, April 7th, 2024, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Ghana.

The winner of this two-legged tie will face a fellow Egyptian side in the semifinals, either Zamalek or the up-and-coming Moden Future.
