Ghana winger Osman Bukari found the net as Red Star Belgrade secured a 3-1 victory over Backa Topola in the Serbian Super Liga on Saturday.

Guélor Kanga opened the scoring for Red Star from the penalty spot in the 36th minute. However, Backa Topola responded strongly in the second half, with Milos Pantovic equalizing in the 62nd minute.

Just three minutes later, Osman Bukari stepped up to restore Red Star’s lead, making it 2-1. In-beom Hwang then sealed the victory with another penalty in the 85th minute

This win keeps Red Star firmly in the title race as they maintain their second position on the league table with 58 points after 23 matches. Their next challenge comes on March 9 when they face league leaders Partizan in a highly anticipated clash.

Bukari’s goal adds to his impressive tally this season, bringing his total to 9 goals and 6 assists in 26 matches across all competitions. He continues to be a vital cog in Red Star’s attack as they aim to secure the Serbian championship.
