Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew has expressed determination and optimism ahead of Ghana’s crucial 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) group stage match against Egypt.

Following a disappointing 2-1 loss to Cape Verde in their opening match, Ayew acknowledged the team’s precarious position but vowed to fight for a significant improvement.

“Tomorrow is going to be a tough game, and the boys are ready. We put ourselves in a difficult position, and we’ll fight to put in a better performance,” Jordan Ayew stated
