GPL: Hearts of Lions Clinch Victory Over Dreams FC

Heart of Lions emerged victorious over Dreams FC in an outstanding Ghana Premier League (GPL) Matchday 13 clash.

The match had been rescheduled due to Dreams FC’s participation in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Kwesi Pong’s 31st-minute strike proved the difference, sending the Lions faithful into raptures. It was their second win of the season, a glimmer of hope in their relegation battle.

The win leaves Heart of lions on life support, still bottom of the league table with 14 points from 16 matches. However, they carry the momentum of this victory into their clash against defending champions Medeama SC on January 17 to conclude the first round.

For Dreams FC, the disappointment of missed opportunities looms large, and they now turn their focus to three challenging fixtures against Bofoakwa Tano, Bibiani Gold Stars, and Karela United. Redemption is within reach for Dreams FC if they can rediscover their attacking prowess and bounce back from this setback.
