Liberia Football Association has shown no regard for Edwardline Decontee Jackson so far.

For two consecutive seasons, Decontee has been the most consistent Local Liberian female player since the departure of Angeline Kieh and Agatha Nimene to the United States of America.

Young Decontee Jackson registered at least [38] goals across all competition during the 2022-23 LFA Women’s League after a splendid 2021-2022 season where she scored [34] goals_a performance that earned her an MVP nomination over the two seasons.

Unfortunately, the 18 years old female star has not touched a ball this season due to a transfer dispute involving her club Ambassadors FC and Senior Pro as her dream continues to fade away.

Notably, Decontee was recently nominated for the Women’s Most Valuable Play Player Award but her parent club Ambassadors has refused to allow her to leave the club amid interest from Senior Professionals and a transfer request in June 2023.

It is also good to note that She has been in stiff competition with a few foreign players: Guinean internationals, Bountou Syllah & Mabinty Kamara who played in the women’s league over the period.

It has been a while since she filed an official complaint to the Liberia Football Association for redress but until not much has been done to quickly remedy the situation for the great good.

The 2023-24 Women’s League is now underway while young Decontee Jackson future remains undecided due to the above-mentioned transfer issues. Per reports, she has stopped training with [ Ambassadors FC ] and is looking only to leave the club for the next challenge.
