Ernest Nuamah edging closer to sign for Olympique Lyon

According to multiple sources, Ghanaian international Ernest Nuamah has successfully passed his medical examinations and completed a historic transfer to Olympique Lyon.

The transaction, which is expected to change the way that football players are acquired, includes a €25 million fixed price as well as an additional €5 million in add-ons.

A novel loan arrangement that includes a buy-back clause will bring the 19-year-old prodigy to Lyon.

The talented young player has also made a significant contribution on the international stage, playing a key role for the Ghana U-23 team in both the qualifying matches and the main 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) competition.

Additionally, he is anticipated to keep his place in the Black Stars after making his debut in their match against Madagascar in June.
