Michael Baidoo shines in IF Elfsborg clash against IK Sirius

As IF Elfborg climbed to the top of the standings in the 2023 Swedish topflight, Michael Baidoo scored his second goal of the campaign.

As his team defeated IK Sirius 2-0 on Sunday to retake the top spot, Baidoo took part in all two of the games that day.

In the 37th minute of the matchday 20 contest, Baidoo assisted Icelandic striker Sveinn Gudjohnsen to score the game’s first goal.

Following a feed from Danish midfielder Jeppe Okkels, the Ghanaian extended the lead for Elfsborg with a beautiful finish just moments later.

With two goals and four assists in 19 games in the Swedish top division, Baidoo has been in exceptional form this season.

Performing well like this is what fans of the lad wishes to see week-in-out.
Ghanaians will be delighted to see him showing more consistency in subsequent matches.
