Match Report: Accra Lions 3-0 Aduana Stars

Accra Lions stunned Aduana Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium by putting three goals pass Coach Paa Kwesi Fabian’s side on match week 31 of the 2022/2023 Betpawa premier league.

Baba Apiiga’s first half strike for Lions seemed to be a slender lead and the visitors kept knocking for the equaliser until the 76th minute when Evans Botchway shuttered their hopes with the second goal for the homeside.

In form striker, Seidu Basit added his name to the scoresheet with a beautiful finish with just 8minutes to end duration as Accra Lions made lightwork of the Ogyaa boys.

The defeat means Aduana are just a point above second place Bechem United and 2points clear Medeama sporting club who plays on Sunday.

A victory for Medeama SC against Hearts of Oak will see them occupy the top of the league table.
