Former Asante Kotoko NCC, Chairman K5: “We spent Ghc 20,000 on spiritual men to help Asante Kotoko win matches last season “

Former Asante Kotoko NCC chairman, Kwaku Amponsah, popularly known as Chairman K-5, has revealed that eight powerful spiritual men were consulted to assist the team in winning games during last season.

He revealed that a substantial amount of GHS20,000 was expended on engaging these spiritual experts for various operations.

Chairman Kwaku Amponsah emphasized that their collaboration played a significant role in Asante Kotoko’s success as champions of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season. However, this season has witnessed a decline in the team’s performance compared to the previous year.

Last season, a lot of effort was put into Asante Kotoko Sporting Club’s games for the team to win the  GH₵15,000 to GH₵20,000 was shelled out on operations for the team with the help of eight (8) strong spiritual men,” Chairman Kwaku Amponsah told Ezra FM in an interview.

Consequently, the Kumasi-based club appears unlikely to retain the league title by the end of the current campaign, and there is even a possibility of finishing outside the top four positions in the standings.
