Match Report: Sarmatex record crucial 2-0 win over Nsoatreman FC

Samartex secured a 2-0 win over Nsoatreman in their Ghana Premier League matchweek 28 fixture in Samreboi on Wednesday afternoon.

The hosts started the game on the front foot with Kwasi Ofosu scoring a goal within the first minute of the match, leaving Nsoatreman’s goalkeeper with no chance.

Despite dominating possession and creating opportunities, Samartex couldn’t add more to their scoreline before the break.

In the second half, Nsoatreman made attempts to stage a comeback, but Samartex’s defence stood firm. Samartex scored their second goal in the 59th minute through Evans Osei Wusu. Though the visitors had a few chances, they couldn’t convert them into goals, and the match ended 2-0 in favour of Samartex.

The win takes Samartex to the top half of the table, while Nsoatreman remains in the lower half and closer to the relegation zone.

Other results on Thursday could push them down further.
