The 8th edition of the Sheikh Sharubutu Ramadan Cup officially launched

The 2023 Ramadan Cup was officially launched on 6th April 2023 at Kempinski Hotel in Accra. This year’s tournament will be the 8th edition.

In attendance during the launching were Minister for Youth and Sports Hon. Mustapha Ussif, GFA general secretary Prosper Harrison Addo, head coach of Accra lions and Black Meteors Ibrahim Tanko, member of parliament for Yendi Farouk Ahmed and other dignitaries.

Ibrahim Tanko promised to provide trophies for this year’s competition whiles Prosper Harrison Addo revealed the Ghana football association will supply football and provide officiating officials for the game.

The tournament comes off at the fadama Astro turf on 29th and 30th April 2023, this year’s edition will involve 30 Zongo communities.
