Bibiani Goldstar and Accra Hearts of Oak shared the spoils on match day 21 of the 2022/2023 Betpawa premier league. Hearts of Oak striker Isaac Mensah pulled parity at the death canceling Evans Owusu’s opener in the first half.
Bibiani Goldstars played host to Accra Hearts of Oak at the dreadful Duns Park. Left back Evans Owusu put Bibiani Goldstars ahead with a cross in the 4th minute.
The home side took control of the game but with Hearts of Oak defending well they failed to add to their lead.
Back from recess, Cameroonian forward Albert Dieudonne appealed for a penalty after his goal bound effort came off the hand of one of the defenders of BibianiGoldstar. With the ball hitting the player’s leg before touching his hands referee Selorm Yaw Bless ignored the appeal.
Coach David Ocloo in search of the equaliser brought on the likes of Victor Aidoo and Isaac Mensah.
Bibiani Goldstar were on course to record their first win over Hearts of Oak but Isaac Mensah nodded in the equaliser in 90″+8 after latching on to Salifu Ibrahim’s delivery.
Center Back Farouk Adams of Bibiani Goldstars was adjudged most valuable player of the match.
