Chelsea agree deal with Shaktar for Mykhailo Mudryk

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Shaktar Donetsk for the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk for a 100 million Euros according to Sky Italy journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Despite the deal not being signed yet, Mudryk is currently on his way to London to complete his Medicals with the Blues after both clubs found an agreement for the player.

Arsenal were favorites to land the 22 year old after keeping close tabs on the player yet London rivals Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal for Mudryk.

The Ukrainian still holds the final decision for the deal to pull through with Arsenal looking as the most favorable club by choice for Mudryk after the past few months.

According to reports, Arsenal have placed a 95 million Euros offer to Shaktar yet Chelsea look more eager to land the Ukrainian.

Mudryk has been involved in 10 goals and eight assists in 18 appearances this season and has been absolutely impressive for Shaktar.

He also received a huge round of applause across the Santiago Bernabeu when Real Madrid took on Shaktar in the Champions League group stage.

Mudryk would become Chelsea’s fifth signing this month after the Blues’ purchase of Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos, David Datro Fofana and Joao Felix as the club looks to return to competing with the best clubs in world football.
