Hervé Renard denies Belgium Coaching rumors

Head Coach of the Saudi Arabia national team Hervé Renard has denied all rumours indicating that he presented a proposal to coach the Belgium National team.

The two time AFCON winner led Saudi Arabia to their first victory at last year’s Mondial over eventual winners Argentina in their opening group game.

However, there have been reports in the media that alongside Thierry Henry, Renard was eyeing the Belgium Head Coach job after the resignation of former Belgium Head Coach Roberto Martinez.

Renard denies submitting his name for consideration and looks focused on his job with Saudi Arabia despite their elimination from the World Cup at the group stage.

“The news suggesting I presented a proposal to coach the Belgium National team is totally false”.

The two time AFCON winner continues to gaze towards the Saudi job and looks to build a more formidable side for upcoming tournaments.
