Fc Bayern close in on Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer

Fc Bayern have reportedly agreed a deal verbally for Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer with the details of the deal to be completed in the next few days.

According to Sky Italy journalist Fabrizio Romano, Laimer will join the German champions in the summer as a free agent.

Bayern Manager Nagelsman has been consistently pushing for the midfielder since 2021 to reinforce Bayern’s midfield options.

Laimer’s deal was set to run out in 2021 after signing a four year contract with Leipzig in 2017 yet renewed until the summer of 2023.

Laimer has 113 Bundesliga appearances and won the DFB Pokal in the 2021/2022 season with Leipzig.

The Austrian midfielder will sign a four year contract according to reports and will be announced by Bayern in the next few days.
