Should Arsenal sign a striker in the Absence of Gabriel Jesus or Trust in Eddie Nketiah

In the ongoing 2022/23 English top-flight league campaign, one team that has surprised all football fanatics around the globe is Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta’s side has produced excellent performances and results since the start of the league.

There were doubt whether this young team can finish in top-four but now many have changed that though, even tipping the gunners to win the league.

However, their club talisman Gabriel Jesus who has been instrumental for them wouldn’t be available for the next two months.

The forward sustained an injury whilst on duty for the Brazilian National team in the just ended 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Due to this, questions have been raised whether Arteta needs to buy a lethal striker or keep in good faith and trust in youngster Eddie Nketiah?

Nketiah showed glimpses of how important he can be for the gunners during the last season. He scored 5 goals in the five matches he started for the gunners.

An opportunity has arrived for the young man to show his prowess and class. Nketiah is a striker who doesn’t score goals but also helps his team to build Attacks as well. He’s a very good ball playing striker.

Arteta has already started that he has high hope in the player and will give him all the confidence to help get the best out of him.

On Boxing Day, Premier League resumed and he was on target in that 3-1 comeback against West Ham at the Emirates.

He’s expected to keep his spot in the line up when the gunners faces in-form Brighton on Saturday.
