Bibiani Gold Stars edge over RTU as Accra Lions and Samartex share the spoils

Matchday 9 of the BetPawa Premier League returned on Monday 19th December 2022 when Bibiani Gold Stars took on Real Tamale United with Noah Martey standing out as Accra Lions and Samartex shared the spoils.

The Bibiani vs RTU game remained balanced and could go either way until half an hour into the game where Noah Martey found the back of the net to put Bibiani Gold Stars ahead at the Bibiani Duns Park.

However, RTU had opportunities to restore parity but failed to convert their chances on the day with Samuel Amoafa of the Miners standing out as the Man of the match in that tie.

The Accra Lions versus Samartex game had great chances for either side to go ahead and win it but both teams settled to share the spoils.

It was Giyasu Ibrahim who put the away side in front against the Lions in the tenth minute yet Hagan Frimpong found the hosts’ equalizer right before halftime.

The game went on in the second half without either side going ahead to find the winner at the Sogakope Wafa Park.
