Inchaban royals wins inaugural Shama district division two gala 2020

Inchaban royals were crowned the first ever Shama district gala champions after edging past Abuesi Golden Legs with a solitary goal.

Inchaban royals produced some scintillating performances throughout the competition to emerge with the trophy.The tournament was contested by 9 teams namely;Apanta Proud United,VRA Young stars,Unicorn FC,Saviour FC,Ajax FC,Golden Legs,Aboadze Parma,Essemaman UTD and Inchaban Royals.

The tension of playing in the finals overwhelmed both set of players as they were too cautious in the first half of the final. However, the game opened up in the second half of the game with Inchaban royals forward Teddy Amoah  converting the only goal of the match to guarantee a win for the Royals. The competition which attracted about thousands of fans to the Aboadze park was also graced by the presence of the DCE of Shama, Hon. Joseph Amoah who promised to give out 2 sets of jerseys and a football each to of the finalists.

The divison two gala was organized by GFA in conjunction with RFA and DFA. Prof. George Kuntu Blankson who is the Chairman of the DFA  was delighted with the outcome of the tournament and thanked the team who participated,referees,security,Lower Pra Rural Bank,participating clubs,the DCE and also the supporters for their contribution towards a successful tournament.
