Ashanti Gold Sues GFA At High Court.

Obuasi based Ashanti Gold have started a legal action against the Ghana Football Association after been demoted from the Ghana premier league competition.

Ashanti Gold and Inter Allies were demoted to division three by the GFA after both clubs were found guilty in a match fixing scandal in the 2020/2021 season.

Some players and officials of both clubs were handed a ban by the Ghana Football Association Disciplinary committee.

Earlier this month,the court of Abitration for Sports temporarily lifted the ban on 22 players .
