Golden Boy Abdul Razak resigns

Ghanaian Coach Abdul Razak has officially resigned from his position as Coach of Togolese side Etoile Filante by mutual consent.

The Golden Boy as he’s popularly known, was hired by the Togolese side in July last year beating a number of Managers to the Coaching Job. The former Asante Kotoko coach has submitted his resignation letter just about half a year into his 3-year contract.

The Ghanaian strategist confirmed that he discussed his resignation with the club management after being threatened by some section of the supporters.

Abdul Razak carried the team to the 4th position on the league table accumulating 14 points in the process,6points behind Entente.

“Last week we started our second round of league matches at home, to my surprise, after the game which ended goalless, I received a lot of insults from the home fans”

“I communicated to the Club Management of having my way from the Club so we have settled amicably as parties”, he added.
