Philip Sackey scores late winner as Olympics records 3rd home win

Accra Great Olympics right back Philip Sackey secured a win a for his side in their match day 13 versus Ebusua Dwarfs as he scored the second goal for his side at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Accra Great Olympics who recently lost in their match day 12 game to Medeama at Tarkwa knew a loose in their match day 13 versus a relegation threatened side like Ebusua Dwarfs will see them swapping places with them, weren’t ready to take such a risk.

The Only Dade boys took some positives out of their game with Medeama SC and built upon it to grab their 3rd home victory in their 2019/2020 game with Ebusua Dwarfs.

Accra Great Olympics were on heat in the first half making them break the virginity of the game in the 2nd minute through Maxwell Nii Abbey. They continued possessing the ball in the first half leaving no chance to their opponent to near an equaliser. The first half ended 1-0 in favor of Accra Great Olympics.

Ebusua Dwarfs returned in the second to show glimpses of equalising but wasn’t anything to put Olympics in their defensive shelves as Olympics continues to surge forward in search for another goal that will seal their victory.

Accra Great Olympics relentless effort paid off in the 86th minute as Philip Sackey scored the second goal for them securing them their third home victory. The visitors efforts to reduce the deficit was proven futile as the game ended by 2-0 in favor of Great Olympics.
