Ghana black Galaxies team recorded a slim 1-0 win against Benin in  Cotonou  in their 2022 CHAN qualifiers.

The virginity of the game was broken by Afiryie Barnie in the 68th-minute. The goal was enough for the game to end 1-0.

However, the Black Galaxies won in their first game against this same Benin at the cape coast Stadium having won by 3goals to nil. The goals were scored by Daniel Afiryie Barnie, Mohammed Alhassan and the skipper of the side Gladson Awako.
