Sadio Mane Convinces Bayern Munich To Sign His Long Time Friend

Former Liverpool Midfielder Sadio Mane who recently joined Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich has convinced the club to sign his long time friend Desire Segbe

Sadio Mane has helped his best friend, Désiré Segbé get a contract at Bayern. The two players met at the Generation Foot Academy in Senegal. Désiré Segbé was brought in from Benin the same time Sadio was brought to the academy. The two became friends and shared the same room.

Mane moved to Europe to sign with Metz. When he settled at Metz, he told the club about his friend, Segbe. When Segbe arrived in France, he and Mane shared the same apartment and shared the same room when on the team’s camp.

They finally separated when Mane moved to RedBull Salzburg in Austria. They separated but remained in closed contact. In 2019, they reunited in England where Mane was playing for Liverpool. Segbe got signed by Oldham Athletics which is 45 minutes away from Liverpool. When he arrived, Mane called him over to stay at his house.

Désiré Segbé was with Mane during his arrival in Germany and his signing with Bayern Munich. When Mane signed for Bayern, he asked the club to invite his friend for trial. Segbé made the trail and got signed by the club. He’ll play for Bayern II in the German fourth tier.
