Division One League Board to introduce player & coach of the month awards category

Division One League Board have decided to acknowledge players & coaches who will emerge as top performers of the month.

The award which is scheduled to commence at the end of March this year,was discussed during a Board meeting on Tuesday March 3.

The players will be nominated based on the man-of-the-match awards a player picks up within the period,the number of goals scored, clean sheets kept,assists provided and disciplinary records of the players.

The focus on the coaches section will be on the number of points accumulated within the period, number of goals scored, clean sheets kept within the period as well as disciplinary record of the coach.

During the gathering it was further suggested that a meeting will be held to discuss about issues of bad pitches , Inadequate dressing rooms for clubs and lack of shaded benches for clubs at some centers.
