“Yaw Annor deserve the PoTY award more than any other person”- Ex-AshantiGold defender

Former AshantiGold defender Yusif Lazio has dared the Ghana football association not to try awarding the player of the season award for the just ended Ghana Premier League season to anyone else apart from Yaw Annor.

Speaking to Soccanews.com, Lazio revealed that he’s ever ready to challenge anyone who stands in the way for Yaw Annor not to win the POTY award.

“I will challenge anyone who will think otherwise.
Yaw Annor deserve the player of the season award in addition to the top scorer award.
The FA have no other option than to take him to Qatar as a reward for his successful season”, he told Soccanews.com.

“There is none like Yaw Annor currently in the Ghana Premier League and he deserve a free visa to Qatar.
We have no personal interest in this but we just have to fight for those who deserve it”, he added.

Yusif Lazio played for Accra Hearts of Oak in 2010, AshantiGold(2013), Aduana Stars(2014) and Berekum Chelsea in 2017.
