Bassigi and Milot grabs two NASCO awards

Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies duo Milot Pokua and coach Yussif Bassigi has bagged two awards during the month of February.

Coach Yussif Bassigi who was outstanding during the month of February, was nominated for the NASCO women’s premier league coach of the of February which he ended up winning the award as the NASCO Women’s premier league coach of the of February. The coach who lost his first two matches in the women’s premier league, supervised his team in coming back from two matches down to win the rest of their games in the first round, scoring 23 goals and conceding only one in the month of February putting them on top of the table.

Coach Yussif Basigi competed with coach Emmanuel Selassie Pentam of soccer intellectuals and coach Imoro Amadu of Prison Ladies.

Milot Pokuaa also won the NASCO women’s premier league player of the month of February for her outstanding performance for her club in the month of February. Milot Pokuaa scored 9 goals in the month of February aiding her team to the top of the table in the first round of the league. She also won 2 NASCO player of the match awards in the month of February.

Milot Pokuaa competed Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah of Ampem Darkoa ladies, Helena Obeng of Prison Ladies, Rahmat Jafar of Northern Ladies and her teammate Doris Boaduwaa for the award.
