Ghanaian international and Orlando Pirates forward Kwame Peprah has expressed shock over his Black Stars snub ahead of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers and the four nation tournament in Japan.
According to the former King Faisal goal poacher, he thinks he has done enough to earn a call-up looking at his statistics in his debut season in the South African premier league.
“Looking at my statistics and performances for Orlando Pirates this season, i think i have done enough to have a call up. It’s also about time.
The management and officials at the FA knows best, so i think in due time, i will get a call up”, he told 3sports.
Peprah further opened up on their CAF Confederations Cup final loss. According to him, it was very disappointing looking at how hard they’ve worked to get to the finals.
“We went all out for the trophy. We came top in the group stages and went through the quarter and semi-finals only to lose at the finals.
It’s very disappointing and i still feel bad. I know next season we will win more trophies for the club”.
Kwame Peprah joined Pirates from Ghana premier league side King Faisal on a two-year deal worth $150,000 last season.
He has scored 7goals in 25appearances for the Buccaneers.
