Ghana Premier League will remain unattractive because of bad officiating….

Bechem United owner, Kingsley Owusu Achau, popularly known as ‘Agama’ has bemoaned what he terms the bad officiating witnessed in the game against Eleven Wonders on Sunday afternoon.

According to the veteran football administrator, the Ghana Premier League is destined to remain unattractive if referees do not change their dubious ways.

Speaking to Akoma FM in an interview on Monday, Agama accused referee Ibrahim Abdulai who handled the game against Eleven Wonders of helping the home team secure the win.

“By performance, Bechem United should win the league but because of other things, we may not win the league.

If what I saw yesterday is anything to go by, our League will remain unattractive. The kind of officiating we saw yesterday was bizarre. The referee was determined to see a win for Wonders else the match was not going to end,” the Bechem United owner stressed.

Insisting in the interview that his team did not engage in match-fixing during the game against Eleven Wonders, Mr. Kingsley Owusu Achau is calling for the referees that handled Sunday’s five-goal thriller to be demoted to the division three.
