GWPL: NASCO player of the month of February and March award. Philomena Abakah of Berry Ladies and three others get nomination

The Ghana women’s premier league player of the month award for sponsorship reason, it call NASCO player of the month award.

The award is given to the player that has been in good performance and top form in the month.

The organizers of the league and people in charge of the award nominate players from both Northern and Southern zone for the award.

In the month of February and March combine, five (5) league game were played in the Ghana women’s premier league (GWPL).

Four (4) players have been nominated for the award and only one from of them is from the Northern zone.

Philomena Abakah who plays as a striker for Berry Ladies, a player who doesn’t look tired on the field of play, a player who fights for ball and press her opponents in among the players contesting for the award.

Veronica Appiah, the striker for league leaders Hasaacas Ladies, the current top goal scorer in the league also got nominated.

Doreen Copson also from league leaders Hasaacas Ladies, a midfield dynamo is also one of the players from the Southern zone contesting for the award.

Barikisu Abdul-Rahaman of Pearl Pia Ladies is the only player that got nominated from the Northern zone for the month of February and March award.
