Ghanaian actor turned John Dumelo has announced a huge dare should Ghana to win today’s match against Nigeria.

The former Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary aspirant says he would trek 1,075 kilometers barefooted with a load of ginger on his head from Accra to Lagos.

Ghana and Nigeria would battle it out for a place at the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi in a game that has been nicknamed the Jollof Derby.

Ahead of the game tonight, John Dumelo who has seen some positives for the home side has boldly declared his stunt.

“There’s no way Nigeria will today’s match. If they do, I John Setor Dumelo, will walk barefoot from Accra to Lagos tomorrow morning with my ginger on my head. Super Eagles my foot”, the actor wrote on Twitter.

The GFA President Kurt Okraku has also sent his goodwill message to the Black Stars and Ghanaians saying;

“We have a common foe, the Super Eagles of Nigeria,” he rallied, before striking the killer blow: “They come across as our little babies, but they pretend to be the big boys.”
