2021/22 GPL: Legon Cities announce triple signing ahead of second round

Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities have announced completing the signing of trio Patrick Yeboah, Youssifou Atté and Basit Anwar to boost their squad ahead of the second round of the season.

In a statement by the club, the Royals indicated that the players have been signed on deals till the last day of the ongoing campaign on June 19.

Yeboah is a left-back who – in recent years has had stints at Karela United, Asante Kotoko and Medeama SC.

Atté is a free-agent Togo international who enjoyed a successful spell last season with WAFA SC but refused to extend his contract with the Academy Boys at the end of October 2021. The 25-year-old is a versatile full-back.

Completing the triple arrivals is attacking midfielder Abdul Basit Anwar from Hearts of Oak. The 19-year-old former Star Makers player has had to look elsewhere for game time almost a year since joining the Phobians.
