Sampson Eduku and Abeiku Ainooson breaks dominance of Nzema Kotoko as Hasaacas sailed through with a 2-1 win

Former Karela United and Asante Kotoko players ended the dominance of Nzema Kotoko as they both scored to secure a 2-1 win for Sekondi Hasaacas at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.

Sekondi Hasaacas in the first half, was the favorite as they continued possessing the ball which ended up with Sampson Eduku slotting in the first goal in the 16th minute through a powerful low shot to the bottom left of the post.

Nzema Kotoko showed glimpses of equalizing in the first half but their efforts was proven futile as the first half ended 1-0 in favor of Sekondi Hasaacas.

Sekondi Hasaacas came in the second half to continue their possessive game but was halted when visitors Nzema Kotoko equalized in the 54th minute. Matters was made worse for Hasaacas when Theophilus Nyame was shown the exit in the 63rd minute forcing them to convert to a more defensive play.

Sekondi Hasaacas had hopes in recovering through a free-kick that was awarded to them but was cleared by their opponent’s defense.

Captain fantastic Abeiku Ainooson showed up when needed restoring the lead of a ten man Hasaacas ending the game by 2-1.

Sekondi Hasaacas still cruise in their unbeaten run having played 7 games.
