Otto Addo and Ibrahim Tanko to be named assistant Black Stars coaches

Ibrahim Tanko and Otto Addo are set to take over the role as assistant coaches of the senior national team, the Black Stars, following the I’m intent announcement of Chris Hughton as coach of the Black Stars.

The Football Association had wanted Otto Addo to replace Milovan Rajevac as head coach of the Black Stars, but following a meeting with the Sports Ministry and the Irish manager, it looks like Hughton will take over the Ghana job.

Ghana performed poorly at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, forcing the sack of Milovan Rajevac.

The GFA will be looking forward to appointing a head coach before the Black Stars take on the super eagles in the world cup playoffs in March.
