“We are not there yet”- Prosper Narteh warns high-flying Kotoko against complacency

Head coach of Asante Kotoko Prosper Narteh says they haven won nothing yet After opening nine points gap at the summit of the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors extended their lead on top of the league after overcoming Great Olympics by 2-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium in week 15 of the ongoing season.

Speaking to the media after the game, the former WAFA coach  insisted they are not there yet with 20 games to end the campaign.

“I won’t say Olympics weren’t good. They a good side, they were tactically strong, compact in midfield and created overload, that made things difficult for us. They came in stronger, tougher and better and that made brought out the best in us.”

“The only secret for Etouga and Mbella is that, they are focused, obedient, humble and hardworking and is the reason we seeing the best out of them.

“We are not there yet. This is matchday 15, remaining 19 matches so the points left to be fought for are more than what we accumulated so far so we ain’t there yet. No room for complacency, we need to stay focus and continue with what we are doing now.” He concluded

They will face Elmina Sharks away from home in their next fixture of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
