Priscilla Okyere joins Lithuanian top flight side

Former Ampem Darkoa ladies player has joined Lithuanian top-flight side FC Gintra Universitetas on a one-year deal from Spanish La Liga Iberdrola side Rayo Femenino .

The former ZFK Spartak expressed her excitement on her twitter handle after her medicals
“I am very happy to have signed for Fc Gintra Universitetas , one of the biggest clubs in the world. It is a privilege to join a team with such a rich history, class and loyal supporters. It’s great that I have come to Lithuania 🇱🇹 to be part of this talented squad. #KAKA14”

She also added by twittering a picture of her and her new teammates captioning it “I will work my hardest and give my all to help Fc Gintra Universitetas reach its goals and make all proud! #KAKA14”

Priscilla Okyere led the Black maidens to win bronze at the 2012 Fifa U17 Women’s World Cup in Azerbaijan.

She was also part of the Black Queens team who finished at the 2019 Wafu Women’s Cup in Cote d’Ivoire in May and the Black Queens team that participated in the 2018 African Women Championship which she made 2 appearances.
