King Faisal suffered their first home defeat of the campaign following a 2-0 loss to Karela United on Friday.

A brace from Umar Bashir handed the visitors a deserved win at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The visitors started the game very well dominating possession and dictating the pace of the game.

Umar Bashir broke the deadlock of the game with a fine finish after outwitting Richard Akrofi in the penalty box.

King Faisal responded very well searching for the equalizer but the visitors kept it at the back.

After the break, King Faisal came close to getting the equalizer but Osman Ibrahim’s header was saved by the goalkeeper.

The visitors were awarded a penalty in 61st minute after Frank Boateng brought down Kumi the penalty box.

Umar Bashir stepped up ands convert it nicely to double the visitors lead.

King Faisal came close again through Zubairu but his header went against the cross bar.

Despite a late Pressure from the host the visitors kept it tight untill the blast of the final whistle.
