AFCON 2021 : Kudus Mohammed expected in Ghana camp by Friday

 

Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus is expected to join the Black Stars camp in Cameroon by Friday, FMIG can report.

The midfielder who missed Ghana’s AFCON opener against Morroco will arrive in Cameroon on Friday to join his teammates for the last group game against Comoros.

The 21-year-old joined his club on their mid-season tour to Portugal to continue his recovery.

Kudus hasn’t kicked a ball in the last six weeks and is currently recuperating but was named in Ghana’s 28-man squad for the AFCON

According to report, Ajax medics have given the player all clear to join his teammates in Cameroon.

With Ajax wrapping up their training tour in Portugal on Wednesday, the Ghanaian midfielder is expected to arrive in Cameroon by Friday.

Kudus arrival will be a major boost for Ghana following their group C opener against Morocco.

Ghana will face Gabon on Friday before playing Comoros in the last group game.
