Kotoko NCC Chairman Christopher Demenya promises to take care of shot victim

Asante Kotoko National Circles Committee chairman Christopher Demenya has promised to take care of supporter Augustine Opoku who was shot in the eye by a police officer during the clash with Berekum Chelsea.

Augustine Opoku who works as a commercial driver and a staunch supporter of the porcupine warriors was shot in the eye with a rubber bullet during Asante Kotoko’s 0-1 loss to Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

With his current state of being a one eyed person, Augustine Opoku who is a commercial driver can’t continue his profession anymore but the chairman of NCC Mr. Christopher Demenya has promised to take of him and his family.

The chairman said
“I don’t think you can still drive the commercial car, but we’ll find a means for you to be resourceful when you recover so you can take your children to a good school.”
