The Terenga Lions of Senegal are gradually becoming a giant in the continent and the world.
Senegal’s best international performance was in the 2002 world cup where they they reached the quarter finals and in the 2019 Afcon, where they ended as runners up.
Despite their failure to the cup of nations, the current Senegalese team has got depth in quality.

The Spider behind the two sticks, Eduard Mendy is in top form with Chelsea and the former Reins goal keeper is one of the best of the planet. In defence, Kalidou Koulibaly serves as a shield. In midfield the team boasts of Idrissa Gueye, Chiekhou Kouyate and in attack they’ve got goal poacher Sadio Mane.
