Ghana’s Black Meteors Coach, Ibrahim Tanko, has revealed the 29-player squad that will depart from Ghana on Monday, June 12, to participate in the upcoming U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). The squad consists of players from both the Ghana Premier League and foreign clubs. Tanko has instructed the selected players to report at 3 pm on Monday to commence their preparations for the tournament.

The Black Meteors have been drawn into Group A alongside the host nations, Morocco, Guinea, and Congo. The U-23 AFCON is set to kick off on June 24 in Morocco, with the final match slated for July 8. The Black Meteors will be aiming to deliver a strong performance in the tournament and secure their place at the Olympic Games in Paris.
