2022 World Cup: Eight African referees selected by FIFA

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has published a first list of referees selected to officiate matches for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar. Eight African officials are on the list.

The finals of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 are fast approaching. 

the FIFA Referees Committee has decided to call on eight referees from the African continent. The latter were called for a preparation course in order to better prepare for the competition.

They are

Mustapha Ghorbal (Algeria),

Redouane Jiyed (Morocco),

Bakary Gassama (Gambia),

Bamlak Tessema (Ethiopia),

Victor Gomez (South Africa),

Janny Sikazwe (Zambia),

Maguette Ndiaye (Senegal),

Jean -Jacques Ndala (DR Congo).

The 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar will be held from November 21 to December 18.
